Degree Programs

All degrees earned through Christian World College of Theology do not require a General Education component and therefore do not have an "Arts" nomenclature. 

Associate of Ministry

66 Credit Hours

The Associate Degree in Ministry is a 66 credit hour undergraduate degree awarded after a course of post-secondary study, typically lasting two years. It is a level of qualification between a high school diploma or GED and a Bachelor's Degree. 

The class schedule is distributed at the beginning of each class year. Each 2-hour session is held every Monday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm from September to May with a short Winter Break. In addition to classroom hours, there are required reading assignments, memory work, textbook study, syllabus workbook study, course tests, critiques, and practicums.

This program provides a solid foundation of Biblical study for preparation in ministry.

Courses include: Genesis, Doctrine of Scriptures, Evangelism, Theology, Christology, Ecclesiology, Pneumatology, The Gospels (I, II, III), Foundational Prayer, Eschatology, Angelology, Spiritual Leadership, The Anointing, Discovering Your Gifts, History of Israel, Intertestamental Period, Ministry of the Prophets, Commands to Servants, Modern Ministry Tools, Acts of the Apostles, Challenge of Religions, Pauline Epistles, General Epistles, Our Armor for Battle, and Building A Team. 



Bachelor of Ministry

126 Credit Hours

The Bachelor Degree in Ministry is a 126 credit-hour undergraduate degree awarded after a course of post-secondary study. The credit hours for the Bachelor's degree includes the 66 credit hours from the Associate's degree program. A Bachelor degree is required before one may study for the more advanced, post-graduate Master's Degree.

Class Sessions are generally held the fourth Saturday of each month, from  September through June. The class schedule is distributed at the beginning of each class year. Sessions meet on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. 

​Additionally, a Major Ministry Project is required to meet graduation requirements. 

Courses include: Biblical Leadership, Life of Christ, Biblical Ethics, Acts (I, II), Church History (Acts III), Poetical Books, New Testament Synopsis, Hermeneutics, Marriage and Family, The Tabernacle, Biblically-Based Church Missions, Galatians, Small Groups, Book of Romans, Homiletics, Pastoral Counseling, Prison Epistles, First Corinthians, Theology, and Administration Principles. 


Master of Ministry

36 Credit Hours

The Master Degree in Ministry is an academic degree awarded upon completion of a course of study demonstrating mastery or a high-order overview of a specific field of study. 

Master Class Sessions are generally held the first Thursday of every other month, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, from September through May. The class schedule is distributed at the beginning of each class year.

Additionally, a Major Ministry Project is required to meet graduation requirements. 

Courses include: Spiritual Formation, Church Foundation, New Testament Introduction, Christ-Centered Counseling, Ministry Management, Advanced Theology- Christology, Introduction to the Old Testament, Theology of the Holy Spirit, Apologetics, and Christian Leadership.
